Farming is one of the four Gathering Professions introduced in the 1.18 Economy Update. It involves farming various plants throughout the world with a Scythe to acquire raw, unprocessed resources in the form of Crops. These Crops can be processed at a Crop Refinery into refined Grains or Strings; in turn, these materials are used in the Alchemism and Cooking Professions (for Grains) or the Tailoring and Woodworking Professions (for Strings) to craft Potions, Food, Armour and Weapons.
